Public service is in my roots.
I have worked for the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s Office since January 2017. In that time, I have prosecuted 6 capital murder cases, worked in our Drug Court, and helped start Behavior Health Court. I have argued cases to the Kansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, having submitted more that 75 written briefs.
I was the president of the Wyandotte County Bar Association from 2025 to 2026.
Prior to working in Wyandotte County, I was a prosecutor in Shawnee County from 2015 to 2017. Before attending law school, I taught in public school.
I am a graduate of Washburn University School of Law where I graduated with honors. I earned a certificate in advocacy with distinction and distinguish pro bono honors.
I received my Bachelors of Education from Kansas State University. Where I received the College of Education’s Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award.
I married my high school sweetheart, Brock Roehler. He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1988. He chose to be come a United States citizen in 2002.
I am a member of the Women’s Relief Corps, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Wyandotte County Historical Society. I am also a member of the Wyandotte County Bar Association and the Kansas Bar Association.
I am a life member of the Girl Scouts of America and have earned my Silver Award. I joined in the first grade as a Brownie.
My father served in the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm. He was stationed at Fort Riley. He was medically discharged at the rank of captain. My mother worked to help individuals find employment through Bossler Brown and Associates.
